Our Client, a local community college, needed to catalog, maintain and process all of the formats represented in the school’s library’s collection – books, analytics, serials, musical scores, A/V materials, microforms, software, and maps for three campuses. LAC maintains the Library’s catalog, handles authority control, updates holdings records, and performs other related tasks. LAC provides qualified personnel to perform quality control review and training for the Library’s technical service staff. Other projects include backlogging support for withdrawn, lost and missing items; cataloging support for processing 1,800 un-cataloged analytics; and working with the library staff to develop procedures and templates for cataloging electronic resources.
